This fairly oldish 'Blake' is finally available on DVD. How high time it is for this, becomes immediately clear: Eastern European porn superstar Anita Blond amuses herself with Blake-muse Dahlia Grey, the fleshly very talented Taylor St. Claire as well as with Vicca and Nikita, by no means in cameo roles. In a wealth of tid-bits, varying in size from peanut to full meal, this quintett enjoys each other in twos, threes or fives, sometimes tenderly, sometimes with a touch of s/m, sometimes in colour, then in black and white. The mainly slow-mo lust of these super chicks is underscored with 'ambient' music, although there is the odd female voice-over snuck in.

If one were being respectless, one could call this flick (like many a 'Blake') 'Prettiest of all screensavers'. Of course direction and photography are as beautiful as ever, it's just that the action could be a bit heftier and less on the dreamy, wallowy side. POSSESSIONS seems more at home on an art-bar screen than at the 'home-porn-cinema'.

Andrew Blake's movies just have that certain something! This one too had me glued to the screen right from the start.. Exclusive locations, sensationally sensuous women and inspired music for every scene. It's the perfectly coordinated scenery that turns you on so much. Images and impressions go down like honey. Sensuously tender colour-schemes in sweet red, blue or black and white, just what we're used to from the master. The whole atmosphere embraces and touches you - it does me anyway. Although I could watch the girls play with each other for hours, I do miss some hefty action. Sadly there's not a single raunchy man's ass in sight, making it, in my humble opinion, just a bit too boring. It's perfect for the single male who wants to lounge on his sofa, letting himself get carried away by his passions, drowning himself in his fantasies.
