About Dangerous Shots
Pierre Woodman is not normal. While "normal" couples just have nice sex in the privacy of their bedrooms, this has entirely lost its attraction for this Frenchman. Even the more adventurous of fuckers, who dare to cavort out of doors, cannot get anywhere close to Woodman's projects. The cast of his movies fuck before such backdrops as the Mont Blanc, the highest mountain of Europe, in the desert, before the Eiffel tower, in the forests of Canada - or on Bali. While the last sounds fairly harmless, it isn't, especially when you know that pornography is prohibited in Indonesia. And so he's got incredible stories to tell about his shoots. That this leads to the, mediocre, fucks almost getting forgotten is not really a problem. We are captivated by the unscrupulousness and the dangers faced by the director.

Pierre Woodman is spilling the beans. And what he tells sounds quite exciting. How he "forced" his performers to drop their pants on the highest mountain of Europe, the Mont Blanc; has had to flee from the police many a time; is not shy at all and will shoot sex in public places such as the Eiffel Tower for instance; and he's quite skilled at mixing these snippets of movies with anecdotes from the shoots - it's a kind of biography of a successful pornographer.

It really isn't the fucks that take centre-stage in this compilation, but the 'behind the scenes' you could say. Wherever they were shooting, the whole team was permanently in grave danger. And this danger was real, not pretend, which becomes clear when you take a look at where the shoots took place. Despite this, I herewith dare to criticize the camera-work. If you're going to shoot at such monumental locations, and you're paying the horrendous poduction costs this entails, you should make more of it - even if some the stories took place well over a decade ago.
